Investigation into a suspicious death continues

On Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 6:09 pm Fort St John RCMP were called to a motor vehicle incident at Thompson Road near Highway 29 in the Charlie Lake area.

Upon arrival, police located a deceased man and determined the circumstances surrounding the death to be suspicious. A police investigation into the cause of death is currently underway.

Police are seeking information or witnesses to any suspicious circumstances observed in the area of Highway 29 from Bear Flats through to Highway 97 on Wednesday, December 6 between 4pm to midnight. Police are also seeking any video surveillance or dash cam footage if available.
