Two suspects arrested in carjacking

Two suspects have been arrested and remain in custody after a carjacking in Coquitlam.
Coquitlam RCMP received a call just before midnight on Thursday March 11, 2021, reporting a carjacking that occurred in the area of Foster Avenue near Poirier Street in Coquitlam. The complainant reported that a female approached him stating she had just been robbed and her vehicle stolen. Multiple police units flooded the area in attempt to locate the suspects and vehicle. Approximately forty-five minutes later police arrested the two suspects who remain in custody.
The investigation is ongoing and no further information can be released at this time.
