Police look to identify suspect in an attempted break and enter

On Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1:20 am, Barriere RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter in progress at the BC Liquor Store in the community. Police Dog Service were called to assist.
Upon arrival, police discovered that someone attempted to gain entry to the business but were unsuccessful. The building was damaged as a result of this. Video surveillance has been obtained and shows a suspect trying to gain entry.
The suspect has been described as:
- Possibly Caucasian man
- wearing a black baseball cap with a white logo in the front
- a white baklava (unable to determine the patter design)
- appeared to be wearing a red T-shirt
- dark jeans and black shoes with white soles
